Pastor and Worship Leadership

Interim Pastor: Rev. Wendy Miller Olapade (pastor@hopeboston.org)

Rev. Wendy comes to Hope Church with a variety of chaplaincy, settled pastoral and interim pastoral experience. She received her M. Div. from BU School of Theology and was ordained by the United Church of Christ in 1996. She and her husband, the Rev. Simeon Olapade, have two sons, Alexander (15) and Aaron (8). Children's Church: Rev. J.C. Mitchell

Musicians:  Hope Church's instrumental musicians are Todor Steinov (piano), Bobby Hall (drums), Sara Goplin (violin/fiddle), and Neil Helme (bass). Jeanne Lucas is interim conductor of the Hope Church Singers this summer.

Sandy is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College. A previous Hope Church Ministry Team Leader and administrator at other Boston-based non-profits, she loves her current role supporting the pastoral staff at Hope Church.
